This is a superb piece for a large wall space! Perfect in a loft, shop, bar or restaurant, or it would make a great bedspread!
This enormous banner is likely 1980s, and advertised the Shanghai acrobats. It is asymmetrical being longer on one drop than the other, and has reinforced loops ready to hang. The smile shaped openings in the banner are not tears but seamed slits to let the wind pass through when hanging.
Nylon type material. Pillar box red with yellow appliqué letters. Double-sided.
Please note this has plenty of wear and marks as seen as it’s an authentic, travelling advertising piece.
