French Circa 1930
Very decorative bronze table lamp on high slender stem, rising from profiled round base, and has great patina. The rounded octagonal lamp-shade is made with an imaginative crocheted amber coloured textile. The rim is trimmed all around with strands of beads. Fitted with the original Bakelite fitting (E28) and cord with the plug and switch have been renewed.
Measurements are: Height: approx. 67 cm, Lamp-shade Diameter: approx. 25 cm, and Footing diameter: approx. 13 cm.
This lamp still in very good condition,given it’s age of 90 years, since the lamp-shade is made out of durable natural silk.
