For sale in this wonderful plaque of original highly decorative/artistic antique plaster “ownership of the fraternal association of employees and workers of the railways Paris”. The item is in an original condition and obtained from a railway auction in Paris. The item would have originally been inserted into a wall in a Paris railway outside the employee’s private offices. We obtained this item because of its wonderful decorative and artistic look. The colour on this item is sumptuous, the plaster has originally been painted in a pearlescent terracotta and the text, which is embossed into the plaster is painted using gold leaf. The surface has aged over the years and so the paint has split to leave a wonderful decorative effect as shown in the photos provided. One surface is stronger in colour as you can see. The item weight an average of 15-20kg (approx.) and if this item is to be posted this will also reflect in making of a bespoke shipping container (Wooden Panels) for it to be posted.
 
Condition: This is an antique item dated from the early 20th Century so expect wear and tear in the nature of loss of colour, light scuffs and aging through weathered / loss of plaster around the edges of the plaques. Overall structurally perfect. This item would look amazing once hung or displayed across a white or plain wall.
