These incredibly stylish pieces are showing the main inspirations of Art Nouveau, applying curved, organic and asymmetrical design-elements to a functional object. In these examples, hand-applied acanthus leaves and streaks of colored glaze are used to accentuate the plant-like shape. The jardinière is exactly matched in terms of scale to the stand on which it sits.  This unique pair are in excellent condition with no signs of cracks or damage, and a real statement!
