Unique Art tin toy (approximately 7 1/2 x 8 in.; 19 x 20.5 cm). Lithographed tin vehicle (patent 4/11/44), various colours, mechanized design allows G.I. Joe figure to bounce up and down as the Jeep moves in a zigzag pattern, key present. The world's first G.I. Joe, with Unique Art's all-metal toy-line pre-dating Hasbro's by more than 20 years.
