Good but with signs of age related use, notably in the form of two repaired tears in the upholstery. These can be found to the outer left hand arm and the top edge of the backrest. There is also some age related fraying to the top of the right hand arm, as well as numerous small pressure marks around the seat base.

A stylish Danish Art Deco 'Banana' sofa. The sofa is upholstered in Gold coloured Velour fabric, with subtle contrasting piping around the edges of the piece, as well as ribbed detailing to the backrest. The frame features a beautiful inward curve giving the piece its 'Banana' shape. The skirt to the bottom of the sofa has been left on, as we think it compliments the piece. Like the majority of all Danish Deco pieces, the sofa is raised upon a heavy Beech wood frame with a heavily sprung coil base. The Sofa also sits on two turned Beech feet to the front and two block feet to the rear. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
