This is an antique carpenter's trunk circa late 19th century. The wooden travelling tool chest features metal handles on the sides, and original green paint. The interior features several removable shelves.
In good condition with wear consistent with age and use.
A scratch built carpenters tool chest made from pine. Includes 8 lift out trays, again in pine. The trunk has a green painted finish to the sides with a natural top side. Please examine all pictures.
Old trunks and chests are good for keeping things tidy - toy box, blanket box etc. and they also are good coffee tables. This old Carpenters Chest has a lot of character and still has 8 tool trays that fit inside neatly, very heavy and solid.
