A large stunning antique Water jug by Adams Tunstall. Early 1900's. Chinoiserie style with black matt ground with flowers cherry blossom part of oriental fence. Possibly transfer as the flowers etc. is glossy. Off white gloss inside with a butterfly and flowers on the lip with a yellow trim.
In good antique condition, there is an indentation very small on the trim probably from production as glazed.
30.5 cm to top of handle, 27.5 cm to top of the side which are a little taller than the spout. 24.5 cm long from handle to middle of spout 15 cm wide at the top, approx. 18 cm diameter. Weight: 1.750 kg.
